Safety

- Ferrofluid stains fabric and skin, and must not be swallowed.

Questions
How does the fluid move?
An electromagnet sits under the glass cell. Its pull rises and falls with the low end of the music, and the ferrofluid follows the field, standing up in spines when the pull is strong and settling when it isn't. Nothing inside moves by motor.
Is the fluid safe?
It is sealed inside the glass cell for life and never needs topping up. Don't open the cell: ferrofluid stains and must not be swallowed.
Does it do anything without music?
With no sound it rests as a still, glossy bead. Room mode lets the built-in microphone react to sound around it instead of a phone.
Is it loud?
It's a room speaker, not a party speaker. We'll publish measured output once we've tested production units.
